Deliciously Fresh: Crafting Rocco's Famous Pizza
Welcome to Rocco's Pizza! In this video, Jen will guide you through the process of making our famous Rocco's Pie. We take pride in using fresh ingredients and making our dough from scratch every day.
To start, Jen demonstrates how to roll out the pizza dough. After sprinkling it with flour, she presses it flat and uses a roller to achieve the desired thickness. Our large pizza is 16 inches in diameter and cut into 10 slices.
Next, we use a perforator to remove any bubbles from the dough. Then, Jen adds our homemade tomato sauce, which is made fresh daily and includes basil, Romano cheese, and a blend of herbs and spices.
Once the sauce is evenly spread, we sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Jen covers the pizza with pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, olives, green bell peppers, and Italian sausage. A final sprinkle of cheese helps bind all the toppings together.
The pizza is then placed on a conveyor belt and cooked in the oven for about 5 minutes and 15 seconds. The result is a delicious Rocco's Pie ready to be enjoyed.
