"I love to compete, I like to go fast. I love to win, but I know how to lose. It's awesome, you can surf the little bumps, the little swells. It's just pure connection with nature."

"When you look around you see these dolphins or whales breaching, it's such a miracle for a person that didn't grow up here in Hawaii, you don't take it for granted. You look through the ocean and you're in an aquarium."
