Ahi Poke Demo - Nanea in Princeville - KVIC-TV, myKauai.com [Chef Demo]
Nanea's Kahau Manzo takes us through their Ahi Poke, step by step.
Ingredients: wasabi aioli, nori, onions, ogo, green onions, sesame oil, chili peppers, mayonnaise, ahu, tobiko,
1) Add wasabi aioli to your plate.
2) Line the plate with nori (Japanese seaweed)
3) Place cups of rice on top of the Nori
4) Put Poke on top of the rice [made of onions, ogo (which is a fresh seaweed from Hawaii), green onions, sesame oil, Hawaiian chile peppers, and a touch of mayonnaise].
5) On top of that we take fresh cut fish (ahu, in this case)
6) Finish it with tobiko, a flying fish roe.
