Welcome to Orchid Alley Kauai! Join us as we introduce our brand new butterfly garden and showcase the beauty of our award-winning orchids. My name is Neill, and this is my lovely wife Fely. We are thrilled to share this special place with the world and invite you to experience its wonders.

The idea for the butterfly garden came about when my grandson and I used to chase butterflies and collect them in a container. Wanting to create something bigger and more captivating, we decided to create an attraction that not only features butterflies but also showcases our stunning collection of orchids. The butterfly garden is more than just a garden—it's a tranquil oasis where time slows down, and visitors can immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

Inside the butterfly garden, you'll encounter two different butterfly varieties: the monarch butterfly and the citrus swallowtail butterfly. These graceful creatures flutter among our orchids, creating a breathtaking sight. The garden also features a koi pond, adding to the serene ambiance. Beyond butterflies, we have an extensive collection of orchids, including many unique varieties and hybrids.

Our orchid nursery spans an acre and a half, and we continuously rotate new plants throughout the year. This means that each visit to Orchid Alley Kauai brings the opportunity to see something new and equally impressive. We take pride in our awarded orchids, such as Fely's Sunshine, named after my wife. The fragrance of these blooms is simply delightful, adding to the sensory experience.

We welcome visitors of all ages, including children who can marvel at the wonders of orchids and butterflies. We plan on organizing group visits for children to provide them with an educational and hands-on experience that goes beyond textbooks. Seeing the expressions of wonder and awe on their faces is incredibly rewarding for us.

Located in downtown Kapa'a, Orchid Alley Kauai is easily accessible. We are open from 10 am to 5 pm, but we often stay open until dark.
