Pro surfer born March 5, 1990, in Princeville, Kaua'i. Started surfing at age 4 at Hanalei Pier. Was surfing with best friend Bethany Hamilton during the 2003 shark attack. Won inaugural T&C Women's Pipeline Championship (2005). ASP World Tour competitor. Rip Curl sponsored since age 14. Founded Alana Blanchard Foundation (2017). Portrayed by Lorraine Nicholson in 'Soul Surfer' (2011).
